We’re building Cheque, a smarter way for businesses to get paid faster. Instead of static payment terms, we turn invoices into dynamic markets where vendors offer early payment discounts and buyers earn returns by paying early.

The founding team previously ran one of Europe’s top startup incubators, launched a VC fund and raised $10m, and scaled tech products internationally. We’re ambitious and unafraid, with a vision of making Cheque the largest financial institution in the world. 

We’re now looking for an ambitious Full Stack Engineer to join the early team.

You’ll work closely with the founding team to ship new features end-to-end, from concept to production. You’ll help make complex financial workflows feel simple, elegant, and fast. Expect to move quickly, contribute to every part of the stack, and have your work directly impact real users and revenue.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has high agency, is curious, and eager to grow with the company

• Works well in ambiguity and prefers working with loose ideas over perfect PRDs

• Cares deeply about UX, performance, and simplicity

• Is a strong communicator, wit both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Has solid experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web frameworks (ideally Next.js) and backend systems (ideally with Prisma or similar ORM)

• Is comfortable working across the stack building APIs, designing database schemas, and in particular refining the frontend

• Has a bias toward action, and cares deeply about solving problems for users
